In 2008, I was kicked out of college for spending more time in the darkroom developing film than attending classes.
Shortly after leaving school, I began working for a wedding and portrait photographer. She made the transition to digital and had no need for her old film cameras. Noticing my interest in the format, she made me an offer... If I helped her clean her cameras so she could sell them, she would cut me a deal on one. I ended up with an RB67 body and Polaroid back.
That camera has travelled with me wherever I roam and has been an important tool in how I view my experiences. More than just a series, these photos stand as my exploration of photography.
